A new report claims that an Apple Credit Card comes in 2019.

Besides your iPhone, you might soon have an Apple credit card in your pocket. Apple teams up with Goldman Sachs to launch a new joint credit card according to the Wall Street Journal.

The planned card would carry the Apple Pay brand and could launch early next year, people familiar with the matter said. reports the WSJ. Apple will replace its longstanding rewards-card partnership with Barclays.

The Apple-Goldman is supposed to benefit both companies. As new iPhone sales growth slows, Apple is aiming to make more money with services such as mobile payments, streaming-music subscriptions, and App Store sales. Apple Pay, which generates revenue on each transaction is key to revenue growth in the long term.

There is no official comment from any of the involved companies. The new Apple Pay credit card only succeeds if it's offering significant benefits. In the meantime, you can save on the big iPhone BOGO Sale at T-Mobile.
