2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Gets Turbo Four Cylinder Engine
  • 2019 Silverado gets a Brand New Turbo V8 Engine underneath its Hood

The all-new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 offers six engine and transmission combinations, including an all-new 2.7L Turbo, and V-8 engines with industry-first Dynamic Fuel Management offering 17 different modes of cylinder deactivation

It is a pickup truck to admire with awe and fascination. The Chevrolet Silverado has eight trims with half a dozen engine transmission mixtures. The 2019 Silverado 1500 caters to a crowd that wants peak performativity, efficacy, high tech capability and quality assurance.

One of the main objectives is the opening up of alternatives and options for consumers. The brand new engine and the range of Silverados mean that for every customer, there is a perfectly suitable means of transportation.

Whether the client is going to select his or her first Silverado or has bought one previously, he or she will not be disappointed and that is a promise made by the Chevrolet Company.

“A major focus of the next-generation Silverado is expanding the range of choices,” said Tim Asoklis, chief engineer for the Silverado 1500. “With all-new engines and a broader model range, there’s a Silverado for everyone, whether you’re buying your first pickup or your tenth.”

2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, it has a V8 s engine beneath its bonnet. Dynamic Fuel Management is also available as part and parcel of the overall package.

“Chevrolet first introduced its Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation system in 2005, and Dynamic Fuel Management is a natural progression of the technology,” said Jordan Lee, Small Block chief engineer.

“Dynamic Fuel Management enables only the cylinders needed to deliver the power you want, seamlessly delivering the best balance of power and fuel economy.”

There are more than a dozen and a half modes of cylinder deactivation which is a good thing. The vehicle has 22% more torque than the previous model. Silverado has a range of trucks which all bear a reasonable price tag.

“The increased variability of Dynamic Fuel Management means the engine will operate more often with a reduced number of cylinders, which saves fuel across the board,” said Lee.

“Better yet, the transitions are transparent, and because the system is torque-based, you’ve always got that satisfying feeling of power on demand that comes from Chevy’s Gen V Small Block V-8 engines.”

Among the salient qualities of the truck, the range may be included High Value, High Volume, and High Feature. It will be an overall improved driving experience that these trucks will lend their lucky owners.

The poundage has been reduced and the trucks have streamlined bodies to end any extra drag. Fuel efficiency has not been compromised either. The Silverado despite being lighter (it weighs 450 pounds) looks bigger in volume than previous models.

The wheelbase is 3.9 inches lengthier. Its front grille has functional air curtains. From the side, it looks very dashing and full of poise. With its Silverado range, Chevrolet has really stolen the limelight as far as dependable and functional pickup trucks are concerned.

According to Chevrolet, the all-new 2019 Silverado 1500 propulsion lineup includes:

  • Over half of the models will be equipped with the most advanced V-8s in the brand’s history: updated versions of Chevrolet’s proven 5.3L and 6.2L engines equipped with industry-first Dynamic Fuel Management featuring 17 different modes of cylinder deactivation.
  • An all-new, advanced 2.7L Turbo engine that replaces the 4.3L V-6 as the standard engine on the high-volume Silverado LT and new Silverado RST, expected to offer 22 percent more torque, greater fuel efficiency and a stronger power-to-weight ratio than the current model.
  • Proven 4.3L V-6 and 5.3L V-8 engines deliver full-size truck capability and performance for the most affordable trucks in the Silverado lineup.
  • An all-new, Duramax 3.0L inline-six turbo diesel will be available in early 2019.

The all-new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 goes on sale this fall.
