This Summer Fortnite will be available on Android

Fortnite’s new Features and Expected Android Release Date Announced by Epic Games.

Epic Games, the American Video Game Company recently announced that their most popular game ‘Fortnite’ would be available for Android users this coming summer. Earlier on July 25, 2017, they released a paid early access version of the game for MS Windows, Mac OS, X Box One and PlayStation 4.

‘Epic Games’ and ‘People Can Fly’ collaborated in the development of this open-world, cooperative survival game. By now, the game was available in two different modes, ‘Fortnite Battle Royale’ and 'Save the World.’

Due to its mass popularity, the early access version orders exceeded the figures of more than one million within first two months.

According to a blog post on their website, they have introduced many new features to make the game more interactive, cross-platform compatible and with improved performance.

Some new features introduced in the new release of Fortnite include:

A Customizable HUD, players have been demanding this feature since its launch, and Epic Games has finally added it to the game.

Improved Controls and Gameplay, they improved the Autorun feature and added new ways to fire; players could access these new features through ‘Settings’ section of the game.

Voice Chat is now available on Mobiles, despite being on different platforms players can now chat with their teammates, different chat options include mute yourself, mute other teammates and Open-Microphone. All this can be done with a single tap on the screen.

"We know that communication is the key when you’re squadding up for that Victory Royale, so we’re working to bring voice chat to mobile. On top of that, you’ll be able to chat with your teammates regardless of a platform," the blog post reads. Epic is also working on strong opt-in options and muting features to make sure voice chat is not abused. “We’re also looking to make it really easy to mute yourself, other players, or open up all communications with a simple tap. There will be a button on the screen that lets you mute yourself, mute everyone in your party, or go back to open-microphone.”

Stat Tracking will be available on mobiles soon, this much-demanded feature will be available once ‘Epic Games’ have upgraded their stat servers for the game.

Improved Game Performance, improvements are made to increase the quality of the graphics. A new Battery Saver Mode will allow players to increase performance, but they will have to compromise with graphics quality for that.

Smaller Installation Size and ability to download Updates in the background. Due to its large size, ‘Fortnite’ consumes a lot of space on smartphones; the company is working on compression techniques to make the patch sizes smaller. The new content can be downloaded in the background without disturbing the players.

Stable Version of the game, the company is continuously fixing crashes and other bugs that are reported by players, for this a ‘Feedback’ button is specially added to the game interface.
