Brand New Sonic the Hedgehog Shoes by Puma and Sega Get a June Release Date

Puma and Sega have hooked up to create Sonic the Hedgehog sneakers that will come to stores by June 5th. Termed the Puma x Sega RS-0 Sonic and Dr. Eggman sneakers, they were put on display two months ago for public viewing.

They consist of stitched blue suede material that feels like animal fur. The sixteen-bit grass image on the back side is inspired from the Green Hill Zone.

There are hints of golden hues within the printed material as well. As for the Eggman shoe, it consists of glossy pebbled red patent leather. Black and yellow striking contrast colors appear as stripes on this background.

There is also a de-bossed Dr. Eggman skull that spits out fireballs from the Eggmobile within the context of the overall design. As for the laces, they have gold hoops hanging from them.

Sega has done this sort of advertising hype for its wonderful products in erstwhile times too. A year ago, Sonic the Hedgehog’s 26th Anniversary was celebrated by the parent company.

The occasion inspired a pair of red mocassins. They were created by Japan’s Anippon, according to Variety. The price tag was $63. Sonic the Hedgehog is a game that has many merchandise items that only add to its popularity. As for the Puma sneakers, they will sell for $130.
