A new version of the Pokémon Go game is heading to the Nintendo Switch with hopes of appearance on E3 2018

Nintendo Switch and Pokémon Go are trailblazers in their respective fields. Pokémon Go was Niantic’s brilliant effort to make a revolution in gaming. It has brought a success after the other and it has spawned a lot of versions.

Many game developers are aspiring to develop games on the Pokémon Go pattern. Nintendo Switch reached the top of the gaming console rankings.

Its dual play mode has brought a revolution in the gaming world. That compiled with the onslaught of game releases throughout its first year and it seems to keep on going.

Now, imagine what a gaming miracle it would be if these two wonders combined. It has already been announced that Niantic will be bringing Pokemon Go to Nintendo Switch.

The question remained, what version? Would they bring the classic Pokemon Go to the gaming console or will they take advantage of the advanced controls offered by Switch?

According to 4chan user “Real Leaks”, the title for Nintendo Switch version will be “Let’s Go”. Rumors are that this version will be a pair of remakes of Pokémon Yellow called Pokémon Let’s Go! Eevee Edition and Pokémon Let’s Go! Pikachu Edition.

The game will feature the first generation of Pokémon and Red and Blue will play a role in the game’s story where the player and his/her rival are new trainers.

Other rumors also indicate that the game will be releasing later this year. No release date has been confirmed yet by either Niantic or Nintendo Switch.

Gamers are hopeful that both the developers will make the announcement or give a glimpse of the game or gameplay at the upcoming E3 2018. This year, Nintendo has announced that they will be focusing on games and we can hope that Pokémon Let’s Go will be one of those games.
