Tesla Model 3 Fails to Get CR Recommendation

Tesla Model 3 Vehicle Not to Get Consumer Reports Recommendation due to Faulty Brakes

Tesla’s Model 3 is the type of car that the company has mass produced in order to cater to the family on a budget. It is affordable, stylish and a smooth ride.

There are many qualities this vehicle possesses. It sells for $35,000 and this price tag can go up to $78,000 depending on the level of customization. This EV is a luxury small-sized sedan and has quite a range not to mention cool acceleration capabilities.

On the whole, it is a better choice than BMW’s 3 Series and Audi’s A4. However, there is a catch to all this. Its brakes are flawed in their functionality and some of its controls do not work in accordance with the norm.

It is these glitches in the vehicle that have left it high and dry. The Consumer Reports recommendation for this EV has been lacking due to these faults. While the Model S got a lot of praise and rave reviews, such is not so in the case of the Model 3. This car had a stopping distance that failed the test.

A spokesperson from the company tried to justify some of the flaws. The braking facility depends on external factors as well. Yet the inconsistency remains and so Tesla Motors has paid the price by not getting a full approval for its Model 3.
