Apple Knew About iPhone 6 Bending Issue Before its Release

Internal documents show that Apple had Knowledge regarding its iPhone 6’s Ability to Bend before it went on sale

A recent lawsuit filed against Apple shows that the high tech firm had prior knowledge regarding the bending natures of both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Apple had conducted internal testing on these iPhones and the results showed that these smartphones tended to alter their shape.

This whole mess has been termed “Bendgate” in the same manner as “Watergate” or “Monicagate”. Actually, these smartphones were bending in the pockets of the users due to faults in their design, according to a report by Motherboard.

While Apple tried to explain away this tendency of its smartphones to bend under pressure, the proof was there in the form of countless complaints from customers.

As if all of this weren’t enough, there were other issues which arose with time. What was known as touch problems cropped up in the smartphones? Faulty microchips lay behind this glitch in the gadgets.

The physical deformities the smartphones underwent left Apple’s reputation as an excellent gizmo maker in doubt. The valued clientele began to have reservations regarding its products.

Whatever the case, it seems that “Bendgate” is here to stay unless and until Apple mends the problems its customers are facing in their devices.

The dramatic changes in the forms of these iPhones were a big design flaw that simply could not go unnoticed. Apple’s appearance in court to face the charges made against it will probably lead to some retribution for the high tech firm as well as justice for the clients.
