WWDC 2018: macOS 10.14 Leak Reveals Full Dark Mode

The WWDC 2018 keynote will bring details of new macOS.

We don't know how Apple will call the next release of macOS, but we got the first glimpse thanks to Steve Troughton Smith. The developer spotted a video on the Mac App Store API showing Xcode run on macOS 10.14.

The new Mac App Store API features a video preview for Xcode, something that the current Mac App Store does not support. Besides App Store app with video previews, the leak also reveals a full dark mode. Right now only the menubar and dock can be set to dark. In macOS 10.14 the dark user interface is also reflected in the apps like Xcode 10 and also icons get a darker treatment. Watch the leaked video on 9to5mac.

The new dark mode is a perfect fit for the dark grey iMac Pro. Apple will present iOS 12, tvOS 12 and watchOS 5 on Monday at 10 am PDT. The WWDC 2018 keynote will be streamed live on the Apple site.
