Xiaomi Rolls Out Its New Android Launcher – MIUI 10

Xiaomi launched its new Android launcher and it seems to be living up to the expectations.

MIUI 10, the next version of Xiaomi’s Android launcher is announced and undoubtedly, fingers are crossed for this much-awaited version of Xiaomi’s user interface. The new version will be available for new and old devices of Xiaomi.

The very first feature on which Xiaomi’s representative was drooling over was its new UI being optimized for the devices having minimal bezels and high screen to body ratio. The previous version, MIUI 9.5, had the feature of navigation gestures that replaced the software buttons.

The latest app menu on MIUI 10 is revamped so that it displays more apps delivering a broad and better preview. All you have to is tweaking your screen with the right placement of app icons. The notification bar isn’t the same and it focuses more on great full-screen experience by making gestures more engaging and intriguing. While users are used to of the standard drop-down menu, the new sleek and smooth look of the UI would definitely improve the overall UX for the users.

Other than the visual side of MIUI 10, the new Android launcher for Xiaomi includes some powerful performance tweaks too. An AI-powered software continuously anticipates your actions by learning from your habits, routine and device behavior. Additionally, it also cuts-out the load time of various apps. Woah, that’s a plus!

A new car mode is also introduced in MIUI 10 that enables a user to navigate on their daily route and enhances the layout to deliver a better and optimum navigation experience. You can always use new voice commands to change the route along with replying to an instant message or answering an incoming call.

Moreover, there is a good news for the old loyals of Xiaomi. MIUI 10 rolls out latest AI-powered camera features for old devices too that is bound to capture better portrait snaps.
