Chrysler means to Manufacture an Alfa Romeo Car with 700 Horse Power

Alfa Romeo will be introducing a supercar in the distant future. It too basically wants to enter the car market for luxury vehicles. The mother company, Fiat Chrysler, has focused on competing with high end luxury brands such as McLaren and Porsche.

In the year 2022, the Alfa Romeo 8C will materialize and stun the world of car aficionados. This step is being taken under the able guidance of the CEO of the company.

He is in the process of heading off for greener pastures. The gentleman wants to see Alfa Romeo become a happening phenomenon throughout the global village after his departure.

The 8C will possess a carbon fiber monocoque chassis. This will be incorporated into the outer body of the vehicle. A twin-turbocharged mid-engine will also lie beneath the bonnet.

The front axle will be electric in nature. With a swift and potent capacity of 700 hp, it will speed up from 0 to 62 mph in less than three seconds flat.

This vehicle will be part and parcel of seven novel cars which will get launched over the next half decade or so. It is not clear at the moment whether this car will appear in showrooms in the USA when it comes out or not.

A spokesperson from the company refused to divulge any more information regarding the automobile which is still a work in progress.

Currently, the Alfa Romeo has three models which are sold in the USA. They are: the Giulia, the Alpha 4C and the Stelvio. The sales for the first half of the current year amounted to 10,016 cars.
