Elon Musk Says Tesla Autopilot Will Get Full Self-Driving Features in August

Musk announces the Arrival of Tesla’s Full Self Driving Package in August of this Year

Elon Musk wrote on his Twitter Feed that his company’s much anticipated Version 9 of Autopilot would come to the fore in August. Up until now, the focus has been on safety and security standards.

With the arrival of this package, the full range of features will go into play. Thus, Musk would be keeping his promise that he made to the clientele of his company in 2016. Full self driving capacity will be a real thing by 2019 without an iota of doubt.

Customers could spend $3000 for additional support to the $5000 Enhanced Autopilot alternative. Yet the question remains that what exactly is meant by “self-driving”? Musk’s tweet says it all.

Tesla has been known to lend beta systems to its valued clientele. Such systems beef up security and give Tesla the competitive advantage in a rabidly dog-eat-dog market.

However, the risks remain as is to be expected from any venture that goes out of the way to serve humanity. The car accidents have been steadily trickling in and they are a warning sign that all is not well with Tesla. Three of the accidents resulted in deaths which is tragic indeed.

An investigation is going on into one of these fatalities. There have been rumors to the effect that Autopilot is a hazard to drivers. Tesla has received its share of criticism from various consumer sources. Although there are many fans who plan on letting the company’s cars do everything while they just let go, such an approach is unrealistic and dangerous.
