Next Microsoft HoloLens, Codenamed Sydney, Coming in 2019
  • Microsoft’s nxt-gen HoloLens HoloLens may cost less and arrive in early 2019

Rumors abound Regarding Arrival of Microsoft’s HoloLens Codenamed Sydney

A year ago, the news was aired that Microsoft was scrapping its program of developing its HoloLens V2. It was advancing towards making the V3 version instead. Since then rumors have become rife regarding the device which may arrive later on in the future.

Microsoft is busy making the gadget and that too in open view of everyone. The project bears the codename Sydney. This gizmo will be a featherweight in its poundage.

Also, it will be convenient to use and furthermore have better holographic features. Even the price tag is reasonable. What more could a consumer of high tech devices ask for?

This has all been part of the technological evolution at Microsoft. The second generation device happens to be right on track for its debut which will take place in 2019, according to a report by Thurrott. The date will be sometime in the first quarter of the year.

Microsoft may send the sophisticated gadgets to selected developers soon yet this is just hearsay and we cannot say anything regarding it with rock-solid surety.

The company is geared towards the MR/VR economic niche with the attitude of a winner. It does not want to miss this chance of a lifetime. While Microsoft has the market in its view, other competitors such as Apple, Google, and Magic Leap will be giving it a tough time.
