Volvo showcases Polestar Package for its List of 60 Series T8 Twin Engine Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles

Polestar plans on launching its future line of electrified cars. Yet we ought to keep in mind that Polestar is not a new brand on the scene. In erstwhile times, it used to design and manufacture some of the best of Volvo’s vehicles.

Such a strategy is going to remain extant for the present and indefinitely into the times which are yet to come. The novel S60 will undergo its debut later on this month. Volvo will have it feature the Polestar Package with its many revamping and renovating adjustments.

After the S60 Sedan makeover, this beauty treatment will also be delivered to the XC60 Crossover and the V60 Wagon. The T8 Twin Engine versions of the 60 series cars will get this package to boot.

They hold a position of superiority over the present day R-Design trim. Volvo has designed a 2.0 liter turbocharged as well as supercharged engine.

Also a battery and electric motor are attached to the backside axle. The package will see to it that an additional 15 hp and 22 pounds-feet of torque will be there in the capacity of these vehicles.

However, keep in mind that power is not everything. Brembo monoblock brakes and six piston calipers remain a mainstay of these cars.

Couple that with durable and tough shock absorbers and you have got a good thing going. These Polestar Package vehicles will be made available on a global level although in a limited number of units.

“Electric cars are our future,” said Håkan Samuelsson, president and CEO at Volvo Cars. “Today starts a new era of Volvo electrified models enhanced by Polestar’s performance engineering prowess. This strategy is firmly grounded in our shared belief in an electric future for the car industry.”
