E3 2018: Yoshi Nintendo Switch Game Officially Delayed Until 2019

The Real Reason behind the Absence of the Yoshi Game at the E3 2018

Nintendo has made it clear that the debut of Yoshi has been delayed until the next year. That pretty much gives us the reason why it was not there at the E3 2018. Nintendo made quite a few declarations at the presentation.

These included Switch ports for Fortnite and Dragon Ball FighterZ. Also, a teaser trailer for Super Mario Party was shown to the audience present on the occasion. As if all this was not enough, an unveiling of Super Smash Bros Ultimate took place as well.

The major sneak peek that Nintendo offered its fans was that all the characters in Super Smash Bros past evolutionary story will be a part of the novel game.

This is truly amazing and a step which ought to be lauded for its boldness and beauty. Yet the emptiness left behind by Yoshi’s not being there remained. Although it was originally meant for a 2018 release, now the release date has been rolled back to 2019.

Basically, it is a work in progress and still needs some tweaks and finetuning to be fully ready for the Switch. All in all, Yoshi is an interesting game that will pique the curiosity of gamers when it finally does come out next year.
