Samsung Galaxy X – aka the foldable phone may get launched in 2019

While the Korean smartphone giant seems to have put a lot of money on the R&D in the project since the past few years, Samsung hopes to bring a foldable smartphone in 2019.

Samsung has been working on a new foldable smartphone and it’s a no secret as everybody is waiting for the phone eagerly. At CES 2018, the Korean giant showcased a perfectly working concept phone and it looked awesome.

The upcoming foldable smartphone by Samsung is expected to be named as the Galaxy X and according to the CEO, the smartphone will have the level of flexibility you can’t think of. Now comes the pain point of how much would the device cost to a user? Well, there are a number of prices speculating in the market but according to the authentic resources, the rumored Galaxy X will cost around $ 1,850. Well yes, that’s a lot of money but won’t you love buying world’s most popular foldable phone?

Speculations are strong that the parts of this foldable phone will go into the manufacturing house in November so that it could be launched in the next year that is - 2019. With such a heavy price tag, one could sniff the smartphone is most likely to boast futuristic design with a powerhouse performance with cutting edge specs. While the smartphone will attract hardware geeks and people from the Samsung’s loyal league, the phone has managed to be a much awaited device globally.

Samsung Galaxy X’s screen is expected to be a huge 7.3 inch in an open state and 4.5 inch when closed or you may say, folded. Well, we will have to wait for the MWC 2019 which is to be held in February. Maybe, we get some solid news about the X from Samsung and till then, let’s hope that the Korean smartphone giant solves the performance and durability issues of foldable OLED panels.
