Bandai Namco has announced the release date for the DRAGON BALL FighterZ for Nintendo Switch on Twitter. And it comes with with a SNES-era DBZ classic

Bandai Namco US official Twitter account has announced that the Arc System Works’ fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming to Nintendo Switch on Sept. 28. The game will be released in the Americas.

The Nintendo Switch version of the game had already been revealed at the E3 last week. There had been no announcement of a specific release date.

Bandai Namco is now offering a new pre-order incentive exclusive to the Switch version. It will include a downloadable copy of Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden, the Super Famicom fighting game which was previously released in Japan in 1993.

Super Butoden for Switch will be the classic Japanese version of the game as confirmed by Bandai Namco. Bandai Namco is also offering early access to SSGSS Goku and Vegeta for pre-orders of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Dragon Ball FighterZ has already been released in January for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One, it has already acclaimed a wide audience. The game will be featured at this year’s Evo fighting game tournament in July.
