Instagram Lite Aims for a Billion More Users via its Move into Novel Markets

Instagram reached the one billion milestone about seven days ago. Yet to keep up the progress, it needs to maintain the search for foreign markets in Third World countries. In these underdeveloped nations, the service is faulty and information relay is a pretty costly process.

That may be why Instagram launched its Lite app on Google Play Store which is a leaner and meaner version of the company’s facility. Instagram Lite is currently to be found in Mexico. It will be spreading to other regions of the world soon.

There will be some advantages to this service. Also whether it would include adverts is a mystery for now. Ads are a source of data drainage in case of Instagram. The novel application is very small and has a 573 kilobyte capacity, according to TechCrunch. Instagram is originally much huger than this. It has 141 megabytes.

Pictures can be seen across the range of users and tales could be told and noted down in the app. Whether messaging will be a feature of Instagram Lite remains to be seen. The Lite app nevertheless solves many of the problems that were faced by Instagram in erstwhile times.

The deletion of photos to download Instagram Lite will be done away with. Also lengthy waiting intervals and payments for downloading will be a thing of the past.

Instagram’s official internet web page has been renovated too. It has become a sort of fashion statement to launch Lite versions of an application in recent times. Facebook has especially done this in the past and why should Instagram be left behind in the race for the future.
