Pocket Rumble Finally Gets Released on Nintendo Switch

The 2D fighter game Pocket Rumble gets release date on Nintendo eShop

The Nintendo eShop is not boasting a wide variety of games this week. It’s a surprise because Nintendo has followed through the success of Nintendo Switch with a continuous release of games. This week’s depletion comes as a special surprise even because it is smack in the middle of the summer and the whole gaming world is still reeling from the E3 2018 high.

However, we can expect something for everyone’s taste this week. Especially if you love the digital fighting mode, then the Pocket Rumble by Cardboard Robot Games. It is a 2D fighter game which only requires two buttons to play. The game offers a variety of offline and online modes. The players are also offered a chance to train up before taking on the big leagues.

The game has come to Nintendo Switch after four years’ worth of waiting after a Kickstarter campaign was launched for the game by the developers. The game soon hit its target goal of $22,000 at the campaign’s end. The development on the game started and it was released on Steam Early Access in 2016. The game saw a lot of success in 107 “mostly positive” reviews. It is now set to dazzle on Switch.

Other games on Switch this week include Shining role-playing games, SNK’s classic Samurai Shodown or, uh, Hotel Transylvania. Other titles are; SpiritSphere DX, PixelJunk Monsters 2 Deluxe Edition, Voxel Shot, Awkward, Kill The Bad Guy, Miles & Kilo, Mushroom Wars 2, our Mushroom Wars 2, Squids Odyssey, The Journey Down: Chapter Three, Ultra Space Battle Brawl, Yuso, and The Wardrobe.
