Fibaro Smart Home Solution: Wireless, Affordable, Compatible, Easy to Use and very Complete

There are many smart home solutions, here is one of the best we have seen so far.

I recently met up with Fibaro, a Polish smart home company. Over the past few years, Fibaro's smart home system has spread throughout 6 continents and over 100 countries. The Fibaro smart home devices are also readily available in the United States. You can find all Fibaro products on

The Fibaro smart home components are all wireless, based on the Z-Wave standard. Because all sensors and activators are wireless, installation is easy. The Z-Wave standard support allows customers to use Fibaro components with other home automation solutions.

There are two choices of hubs from Fibaro. The Home Center Lite is an easy to use smart home hub. Users only need to use visual apps to configure and control the Fibaro home automation system. The Home Center 2 is for professionals who want more control and ability to program with LUA more complex smart home solutions. The Fibaro system is compatible with Alexa and another voice assistant, enabling you to control your smart home with voice.

The Home Center Lite retails for $249 on The range of smart home components from Fibaro include Switches, Motion sensor, RGBW LED light controller, flood sensor, wall plugs, buttons, sirene, roller shutter, window & door sensor, smoke detector and more. You find all Fibaro smart home devices on

A new interesting little component that will come soon from Fibaro that can be very powerful is the Fibaro implant. This little component can replace switches in your appliances and make them controllable wirelessly. With the implant, I could automate my Rancilio Silvia espresso maker and have it switch on at a certain time automatically. The Rancilio can't be switched with a smart wall plug as the power switch is stateless. You can find out more about the Fibaro smart home solution on
