Detroit Auto Show or North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) organizers are planning to move the annual car show to June in 2020

Those supervising the Detroit Auto Show are planning on shifting the annual car show to June in 2020. This plan of shifting the show to a Summer month is a move to separate the show from the rush of many car shows that happen worldwide from fall through spring every year.

This news of moving the Detroit Auto Show to June in 2020, comes from sources close to the organizers who have given their word of mouth regarding the situation at hand.

This will probably be a more inspirational Detroit Auto Show that will seek its roots from the Goodwood Festival of Speed which will be taking place in the UK within a few days. The festival has been an ongoing tradition of technology in England since the past two and a half decades.

Annual hill races, super vehicular performance and a truly wonderful motor show is what the Goodwood Festival of Speed is all about. It is definitely worth watching with the eyes wide open.

Many automaking companies are looking forward to revamping the look and feel of the Detroit Auto Show. Until now, most automakers had lost track of the show except for VW.

A German line of vehicle makers had also exited the Detroit Auto Show as was seen in 2018. The shifting of the date of the show in future times is something which is an ongoing debate among the concerned authorities.

The teaser clip which has come to the fore has it that the 2020 Detroit Auto Show will take place in the hot and humid month of June. This 360 degrees turn from October to June has led the VP of GM to say that “a massive festival of automotive” will be aimed at customers thanks to this future event. Therefore the final date for the Detroit Auto Show 2020 has been reportedly set in the summer month of June.
