Porsche 911 DLS

This is what the German SUV company Porsche is working on.

Porsche has a couple of models that are yet to be released. They will come to the fore in the future. So pretty soon customers will be flocking to showrooms in order to buy one. To hit the road with a Porsche beneath the seat of one’s pants is a pleasure which every enthusiastic driver ought to experience at least once in a lifetime. The following are a few of these Porsche car models that will surely catch many a car aficionado’s eye:

Porsche 911 DLS (Dynamics and Lightweighting Study)

The Porsche 911 is one of the models from which we ought to begin our journey. Taking its cue from Formula 1 technology, it has a cool powertrain and featherweight body. This roadster is currently on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It has a carbon fiber framework with torsion that is the best. Termed the most technologically sophisticated air-cooled 911 in the world, it has more even weight distribution. This car has a motor with titanium valves and the topmost power reaches 9000 rpm. The body also comprises magnesium elements and it is fully lubricated with F1 fuel injections.

This model has an anti-lock braking system. Also, a traction control capacity lies in the works. Electronic stability control technology exists on board this vehicle. Brembo carbon ceramic discs and monobloc calipers are fitted in the machinery. The 18-inch wheels can tear up the tracks and leave skid marks behind them. As for the cabin, it contains leather trim and carbon fiber panels. The seats are adjustable and lend the utmost comfort. Changing direction is a cinch with the steering wheel. Singer and Williams have hooked up to manufacture this vehicle. The engine is a 4.0 liter flat six and churns out 500 hp.

When you gaze upon this car, you at once notice that it is beautifully constructed from scratch. The aerodynamics is also fine-tuned. This DLS Porsche 911 is bespoke and charming in equal measures. There are ram air intakes on the side windows. The horsepower is greater by 50 units than the GTS model. As for the six-speed manual transmission, it takes care of everything in a smooth manner. A double wishbone lies in front and an aluminum trailing arms in the back end. The car will arrive in 2018 and then its lucky drivers can have a good time.

2019 Porsche 911 Speedster

Now we move on to the Porsche 911 Speedster which is one hell of a vehicle. With 450 hp and 406 pounds-feet of torque, it is not as fast as the Coupe version though. That is due to its poundage. However, its speed capacity from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds is still quite phenomenal. The turbo model is muscular and wide in its dimensions. Spy shots of this car have already been leaked on the Internet. This is a car that has been given a makeover. The number of cars that will be churned out are just a couple of hundred units for now. There is a reason behind this. It is an exclusive and special vehicle and not one that is meant for every Tom, Dick, and Harry.

The Speedster was found doing the rounds at the Nurburgring recently. It seeks its inspiration from the earlier 911. The Speedster was originally driven way back in the year 1954. It brought back the spirit of the racetrack to the ordinary consumer. Bucket seats and a convertible top made this car a dream vehicle of so many. It was a car that was very popular in the US of A. This vehicle was built on a special order. The range of hues this car is available in are blue and white. It has flying buttresses and bumpers which seek their inspiration from the 911 GT3.

The height of the chassis is very low and it has a singular deck lid arrangement that appeals to the inner designer among us all. As for the windshield, it is shorter in its dimensions. It is a soft top vehicle. Yet it has nothing to do with the 911 Cabriolet model. This car has a splitter which runs right through the center. The exhaust has two pipes coming out of it. Finally, the inner space has a more sports-inspired polish to it. There are door fabric loops as well. Much of the interior remains an enigma since not everything has been divulged just yet.

The biggest thing which has occurred is the lightweight nature of the Speedster. A great amount of poundage has been dropped in its case. There are a number of renovations and revamping that have occurred as well. In performance, this car is tops. The price tag could go up to $150,000. As for the cars which give this vehicle a run for its money, they include among them the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster. It will arrive towards the end of 2018 or the beginning of this year.

Porsche Taycan EV

Moving on to the list, we come to the Porsche's all-electric Taycan. This is actually the evolution of the Mission E as seen in fast forward mode by the public. The very first teaser images of this vehicle have hit cyberspace. The Mission E, Porsche's first electric vehicle, came to the fore three years ago. Porsche has marketed this vehicle as a real model that is worth it in the end and it is said to have a soul. The marketing seems to be right on target. Winning several awards in the process, this car has a range of 250 miles. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The charging portal is the coolest feature that this automobile possesses.

An 800-volt system lies on board the Taycan. The charge rate is 350 kW. Thus 80% charging repletion could occur in a mere 15 minutes. Rumors exist that this model will sell for $75,000. The overall marketing strategy by Porsche is not bad and this car will sell like hotcakes provided the future drivers are satisfied in the final analysis. A prototype of the Taycan was spotted recently at the Nurburgring. Such electric cars can let loose a huge surge of power which automatically leads to sudden acceleration.

However, when it comes to staying power, such is hardly the case. The power boost does not last long. Tesla’s Model S comes to mind where such quickly accelerating cars are concerned. Yet you have to admit this much that it is quite a popular car, especially among speed freaks. The short video clips of the car racing down the track show a cool and classic roadster that is smoothly skimming the surface below its wheels. This vehicle will be coming in the month of March in the year 2019.

2018 Porsche Macan

So finally we arrive at the last Porsche model and this happens to be the 2018 Porsche Macan, a facelifted version of original Macan. It will undergo full unveiling at the Paris Motor Show in October of this year. A prototype for this vehicle has already made an entry on the scene. The camouflage on it is next to nil. Indicator strips are few and far between. They have been incorporated into the grilles of the front bumper. The headlights possess LED graphics while their earlier shape has been retained. This was the first vehicle designed by the company that had tail light lenses. It is a competitor with the Jaguar F-Pace. Containing the feather touch technology of the Panamera inside it, the prototype leaves a lot to the public’s imagination.

Double 7 inch displays exist on the dash. The infotainment system is the best. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration are facilities that are available as well. A 3.0 liter and 3.6-liter V-6 petrol engine exists beneath the bonnet. It can deliver from 332 to 339 lb-ft of torque. The Macan Turbo is a car to be reckoned with. Shaped like an SUV, it is basically a sports vehicle. Navigation system lies on board the Macan. Also, it has powerful front seats. Costing a cool $88,750, it is a vehicle worthy of the cash spent buying it since that cash will get you a whole lot in return.

This SUV comes in a green color. While the test mule that has been spotted looks pretty normal on the outside, it is a very complex vehicle on the inside. The LED headlights are lengthier and aligned with each other. Also, the grille has been partially revamped for the better. Based on the erstwhile Audi Q5, this car has definitely been given a booster shot. The fully electric version for this car will be arriving soon as well. With a 500 km range, it will lend 430 hp which is a good thing indeed. It will debut at the Paris Motor Show this year.

With that, we come to the end. These were the models from the Porsche Company that will be up for grabs in the future. Save some cash and buy one and become the king of the road for the rest of your life.
