Apple is all set to go big this year with launching three new iPhone models. According to the rumor mill, the variants may include a larger version of iPhone X that may go with the name iPhone X Plus. Moreover, the new fraternity of iPhone may include a less expensive version of iPhone X. With pricing being a comfort zone for Apple, it is to note that its priciest iPhone that sold for $999 was the chart-topping smartphone in the initial months of 2018.Not to forget the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus that raked in huge sales and fortune for the smartphone giant. A less expensive iPhone from Apple would certainly prove to be a tough competition for the other smartphone manufacturers and a moment of easy breath for Apple as the iPhone X lost its sales after six months of its launch.

Expected release date is in September

Even though Apple didn’t announce any launch date of the upcoming iPhones but as its annual event has set the tradition of launching new devices, it is most likely to be expected at the Apple’s annual event. The first iPhones were launched in January and then, the company shifted its launch ritual to September with iPhone 5. The aforementioned observation is a huge reason of expecting the device in September.

OLED or LCD for the next iPhone X

Echo chamber, a popular and authentic tech blog claimed that Apple with ditch the OLED display for LCD and the upcoming iPhones are to boast LCDs. A major reason of this revert is cutting down the retail price of iPhone. Another report by The Wall Street Journal states that the pricy OLED display is destined to put at rest and it will be replaced by the less-expensive LCD. According to the rumors, Apple is planning to come up with two iPhones powered by OLED and one with LCD that will have a lower price tag. If this would be the case, the variant with LCD is more likely to sell faster than the other iPhones.

One of the upcoming iPhone variants may boast triple lens at the rear as per the report of MacRumors. The article also stated that a camera like this would majorly enhance the quality and capacity of iPhone’s rear zoom especially in low light environments. According to Forbes, the rumor is going strong and the device with highest specs is expected to feature three vertical lenses.

Up sized iPhone

According to Bloomberg, two surprises have been prepared by Apple. A 6.5-inch OLED model, and a 6.1-inch LCD version that will be the biggest iPhone ever - another version of iPhone X. Speculations are there that Apple might drop the 5.8-inch size that it uses currently for the iPhone X.

Stashed prices

According to Kuo, Apple may launch a variant with a minimal price between $550 and $650 that would feature single sim and the dual sim variant will cost between $650 to $750. Moreover, to make the 6.1-inch iPhone pocket friendly, the smartphone giant is expected to ditch some costly components such as the OLED display, Face ID, the second rear camera and 3D Touch.

Most expensive iPhone ever

Well, rumors have their twins that are opposite to what they say. At UBS, investment analysis is predicting that Apple’s 2018 flagship iPhone will cost around $1,100. Following this price, it is a hundred dollar up from the iPhone X as it was launched with a price tag of $999 but again, if the upcoming smartphone is more powerful than iPhone X with a bigger display, it deserves the price.

The iPen

Rosenblatt Securities, an investment firm stated that an OLED iPhone supporting an iPen is expected to roll out in 2018. The rumor is speculating since many months and to be exact, since the debut of stylus in 2015. If the iPen is all set to hit the market, the 2018’s iPad supporting the iPen will prove to be breathe of fresh air for the iPad fans. Let’s see what Apple has to offer in September.

Virtual fingerprint scanner

Face ID has literally killed the need for a fingerprint scanner and with the buzz around of Touch ID integrated in the display, the rumor mill has a news that is – the upcoming variants of iPhone may include Clear ID. While Face ID isn’t the only security feature to count in the future, it can prove to be a big player in the smartphone industry.

Apple has fueled up its devices with advanced display systems and spell bounding specs. Apple fans are on their toes and the anticipation is much stronger than ever. With iPhone X being the best smartphone globally, it seems like the smartphone giant has planned to take on the lead with its upcoming iPhones.
