Apple iPhone 2018 Event Date Leaked?

The new iPhones will be unveiled in less than a month.

Summer has zipped by as Apple is close to unveiling the new 2018 iPhone line-up. German Apple news site Macerkopf claims that carries Telekom and O2 plan to start taking pre-orders for the new iPhones on Friday, September 14.

The site claims that they heard this date through the grapevine. The date is no surprise as it's in line with the launch of the iPhones last year. With the iPhone pre-order starting on September 14, the iPhone keynote is either on Tuesday, September 11 or Wednesday, September 12.

Apple has not announced any details yet about the fall events. The invites to the September iPhone events could arrive as early as the end of this month.

So far not much has leaked about Apple's iPhone line-up for 2018. The OLED based iPhone X (XS) might get pencil support and the wireless charging technology is supposed to be improved in the iPhone X and iPhone 8 follow-up models. Apple has this year a naming issue with the iPhone X. How should the successor be called? iPhone XS? The iPhone 8S is likely the name of the new iPhone 8.

Besides the new iPhone line-up, Apple also possibly reveals new MacBooks, Mac Mini and iMacs. Specifically, Bloomberg reports in a new story that Apple plans to release a new low-end MacBook and a new redesigned Mac Mini.
