Apple announced to reveal new products on September 12.

The highly anticipated iPhone 2018 event is on Wednesday, September 12 in the Steve Jobs Theater in the new Apple Campus. The event will be streamed live on the apple.com site. The tagline of the event is "gather round" and the graphics show a bronze/gold circle that might represent the new campus.

Shortly after the event announcement, an image of two new iPhone XS leaked. 9to5Mac released a press-image that shows both new 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED iPhones. Apple is according to the report indeed naming the follow-up to the iPhone X, iPhone XS.

The iPhone XS will come in a new gold color version featured in the leaked image. There are no other details about the new iPhone XS. The leaked image shows that the design of the iPhone XS follows that of the iPhone X. I just hope, Apple found a way to get rid of the notch. The 6.5-inch iPhone XS is looking to be my choice. I'm still on an iPhone 7 Plus. The large OLED iPhone XS could be a nice big upgrade.

The new iPhone XS will be released very likely still in September. A new LCD iPhone with the iPhone XS design is also in the rumor mill. The screen size of 6.1-inch would place it in the middle, according to an earlier Bloomberg report.

Apple is going to have a stellar Holiday quarter with the new 2018 iPhones. The company surprised with a great Q3, that is setting the stage for the crucial Q4.
