The iPhone XS Max has a 1-inch bigger screen than the iPhone Plus.
Who is ready for Apple's biggest iPhone in history? A new report claims that Apple will call the new largest iPhone, iPhone Xs Max. The iPhone Xs Max features a 6.5-inch OLED screen, which makes it an inch larger than the iPhone 8 Plus.
9to5Mac reports that the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone Xs will be called iPhone Xs Max. The name is a weird choice for Apple, especially as there was a time that the Android camp used the "Max" in their flagship phones.
Apple's iPhone line-up for 2018 is kind of a shake-up without any big new features. The predicted line-up includes the iPhone Xs with 5.8-inch OLED, iPhone Xs Max with 6.5-inch OLED and an iPhone Xs Lite with a 6.1-inch LCD screen. All three share the iPhone X design. Apple is likely keeping the iPhone 8 as is. There is a chance that Apple will upgrade the iPhone 8 to iPhone 8s, by just using the new A12 CPUs.
Apple will unveil the new iPhones at an event next week, September 12.
