The cloners in China ship faster than Apple.

Apple unveiled the biggest iPhone in history last Wednesday. I pre-ordered mine on Friday. The 6.5-inch iPhone Xs Max just hit my nerve. I'm upgrading from an iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone Xs Max - I'm excited. Lewis over at Unbox Therapy already got an iPhone Xs Max in his hands. Just kidding. He unboxes an iPhone Xs Max clone.

The clone looks incredibly real. Good enough to fool your co-workers that you already roll with the new iPhone Xs. On second glance you see differences that give away that this device is a rip-off. The design and the dimensions are a perfect match. The bezel is though not the same. The UI is a close copy, but has many differences to the real deal. The camera quality is ridiculously bad.

This device is just usable for pranks, but not an alternative to the new biggest and most expensive iPhone ever. Here are five reasons to convince yourself to go for the iPhone Xs Max.

Carriers T-Mobile and Verizon have a hot iPhone Xs BOGO deal that saves $700 on the second iPhone. Buying two iPhone Xs Max is less of a pain than buying one. Surprise your wife or husband next week.

Apple is not a fan of Lewis Hilsenteger. He does not get invited to the Apple Events and is not part of the exclusive list of reviewers that Apple supplies with iPhone review units ahead of the release. The biggest problem that stands between Apple and Lewis is the iPhone 6 Plus bending videos that made Hilsenteger a Youtube star, but this now years ago. The world has moved on, but Apple never forgets - see Gizmodo.

Lewis talks a lot about Android phones on his channel and is often critical about Apple, but the criticism is always reasonable and not based on fabrication, fandom or hate. He is definitely one of the best reviewers on Youtube and I would love to watch him review the iPhone Xs Max and he will eventually on his own dime.
