Ultimate Electronics Pet Toys Round Up for Holidays 2018

There will be an invasion of electronic pets under the Christmas tree in 2018.

Electronic pets are nothing new. They are around for years. We are now in the second Holiday season with a new kind of electronic pet category created by WowWee Fingerlings. Fingerlings set the price for interactive toy pets to a low $15. The original Furby sold for $35 and Hatchimals dominated the 2016 Holidays with a $60 list price.

Spin Master sticks to the comparatively high price with the new Hatchibabies to be released on October 5. But they are the exception. Most new electronic pets are priced at the magic $15 price-point that Walmart pushed for when WowWee launched the Fingerlings monkeys last year.

These low-cost electronic pets share the pretty much the same functionality. Audio, touch and motion sensors let kids interact with the toys. They react with noises and utter words and move parts of their bodies for expressions.

WowWee is still in the game of selling Fingerlings at $15 with the new for 2018 Untamed Raptors and T-Rex Fingerlings. WowWee also tries to make a dash for a higher priced interactive pet with the $29.99 Fingerlings Hugs electronic plush toys. Find below the comprehensive round-up of hot new electronic pets that compete for the title of hottest Holiday toy 2018.

3. Wrapples - Little Live Wrapples are like Pomsies little furry creatures. Instead of a wrap-around tail, they have a snap-on tail. Moose Toys even released a Wrapples song and dance for kids to play with their Wrapples.

4. WowWee Untamed T-Rex and Raptor - WowWee moved on from monkeys, sloths, and unicorns Fingerlings in 2018 to dinosaur Fingerlings in the Untamed line: Raptors and T-Rex. There is now also an AR game that brings the Untamed Fingerlings into the digital realm for battles.

Slightly more expensive, but noteworthy for the Holidays 208 are the interactive toy pets L.O.L. Surprise! Live, Lil' Gleemerz, Grumblies and Crate Creatures.
