Choetech Wireless Charging Stand for iPhone and Samsung Galaxy Review

I tested the $19.99 Choetech Wireless Charging Stand.

Wireless charging is all about convenience. There is no need to fumble for the power cable anymore. To fully benefit from the wireless charging capability found in the latest iPhones, Samsung Galaxy devices and others you need accessories.

One of the choices is the Choetech wireless charging stand with 7.5W fast wireless technology. The straightforward stand allows you to keep your smartphone upright while it is charging. This is great for desk use. I can just have my iPhone next to my iMac and interact with it, without picking it up.

This wireless charger is specially designed to fast charge iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus at 7.5W output, enables high-speed charging up to 40 percent faster performance with fast wireless charging feature. For Samsung phones, the stand supports 10W quick charging. To support fast charging you need a Quick Charge 2.0 or Quick Charge 3.0 power adapter and not just connect the stand to your computer's USB port.

The Choetech wireless charging stand does not come with a power adapter. You need to get a Quick Charge USB power adapter from Anker or others for around $10 on

The $19.99 Choetech Wireless Charging Stand is stable and has a minimalist design. A soft green LED shows if your phone is charging. There is nothing wrong with this wireless power accessory. A bundled quick charge adapter would be nice, even if that would mean that the price would be a bit higher, but it definitely would be more convenient.

The Choetech Wireless Charging Stand is available on in two different designs here and here.
