Walmart Black Friday 2018 Revealed

The Walmart Black Friday 2018 ad and schedule are out.

Walmart announced on November 8 the details and ad for the Walmart Black Friday 2018 sale. The Walmart Black Friday 2018 ad is available now online.

The Walmart Black Friday 2018 sale begins on Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 10 pm ET, 9 pm CT online at walmart.com. Walmart's stores start to sell the advertised Black Friday 2018 deals on Thanksgiving Day at 6 pm local time. Before the in-store Black Friday sale begins, Walmart hosts a "Light Up Black Friday" party for customers starting at 4 pm.

In the Black Friday party event Walmart will be giving away four million cups of complimentary coffee courtesy of Keurig and nearly two million free Christmas cookies from the Walmart Bakery, to help get shoppers into the holiday spirit.

"There really is no bigger or better day of the year than Black Friday; that’s why we are pulling out all the stops to make it a great night for our customers," said Steve Bratspies, chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S. "We’re more confident than ever that our customers will find incredible prices on everything on their holiday wish list at Walmart. And with deep availability of these items in our stores and new features like color-coded Black Friday Store Maps in the Walmart app and Check Out With Me, as well as earlier access to the deals online, it’s never been easier for customers to shop – and save – at Walmart on Black Friday."

To help customers plan their store journey in advance of the event and save time while they shop, the new Store Map feature in the Walmart app will transition to a Black Friday version of the map from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. local time. Just browse the Black Friday circular on the Walmart app, select an item and its location will appear on the Black Friday Store Map. The Black Friday Store Map will also include pins that direct shoppers to the top eight Black Friday deals. This means that this year will not be a special release of store maps. Just get the Walmart app and the Black Friday map will show up automatically.

Also new this year are "Check Out With Me associates," identifiable with a bright yellow sash. You can checkout with them in key areas of the store.
