Black Friday 2018 Ads Are the Same

Reading one Black Friday 2018 ad and you know most Black Friday deals.

The standardization of Black Friday deals in 2018 has reached new levels. Especially in consumer electronics and video gaming, the deals are the same across all retailers. The reason for this is that manufacturers have taken over Black Friday. They set the Black Friday pricing and retailers are apparently bound to not offer better deals.

There are only a few doorbuster deals on TVs that are unique between stores. Most TVs on sale during Black Friday 2018 are available at the same price everywhere.

For video game hardware there is not a single unique Black Friday deal. All stores advertise the $199 PS4 Spider-man Bundle, $100 off Xbox One S & Xbox One X and the $299.99 Nintendo Switch Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle.

Not even Dell has advertised this year a stand-out video game console Black Friday deal. The last chance for better Black Friday 2018 gaming deals is the GameStop Black Friday 2018 sale. The GameStop Black Friday 2018 ad is expected to be released on Sunday. Last year, GameStop offered additional gift cards with the standard Black Friday video game hardware deals.

You can browse all Black Friday 2018 ads, or better, just take a look at one to know most Black Friday 2018 deals. The availability of the same Black Friday deals at each store takes the fun out of Black Friday deal hunting. It's just too easy now to get good Black Friday deals. The $199 PS4 Spider-man Bundle is a great deal, despite to be available everywhere starting Sunday, Nov. 18.

This year there is not a single advertised Black Friday deal that has triggered any significant hype. The exception are the Walmart's $400 gift card iPhone deal and the already mentioned $199 PS4 Black Friday bundle in some way.
