Nintendo Switch Gets New Media Channel with InkyPen

Comic subscription channel launches on Switch tomorrow.

On Monday, Dec. 17, the comic subscription service InkyPen launches on the Nintendo Switch. The Switch continues to grow into a more versatile media consumption device with channels like this. Youtube has landed this year on the Switch and everyone is waiting for Netflix. In the meantime comics, fans can look forward to the content from InkyPen.

The flat fee comic subscription service is $7.99 per month. This is the same cost you have to shell out for Netflix. InkyPen allows you to read thousands of comics from a wide selection of publishers and artists first on Nintendo Switch. All content is available upon subscription, no premiums, no piecemeal content.

Almost all of InkyPen's content is available globally with some exceptions. The comic channel is initially launching in English with further languages to follow. InkyPen subscriptions will be valid on all future platforms.

Manga content will be available as well at some point on the InkyPen channel, but not at launch. InkyPen is based in Norway. Watch the announcement trailer for InkyPen below.
