CES 2019: Samsung UR59C Is World's First 32-inch Curved 4K UHD Designed for Content Creators

Samsung introduces display for content creators at CES.

Samsung brings three new monitors to the CES 2019. Besides the Space Monitor and CRG9, Samsung exhibits the Samsung UR59C. The Samsung UR59C is ideal for content creators that seek both versatility and performance, the new UR59C 32-inch monitor features a UHD curved display with a 2,500:1 contrast ratio and a full 3840×2160 4K UHD resolution with support for up to one billion colors. The 1500R curvature delivers a truly immersive experience that shines while creating content and art, watching videos or gaming while reducing the eye strain typically associated with long periods of traditional monitor use.

Available in Dark Blue Gray, the UR59C has a super-slim design, with a depth of only 6.7mm with a fabric-textured rear casing. Its 3-sided bezel-less screen is attached to a slender yet sturdy V-slim metal stand with two-prong base that encases cables and reduces its footprint on work space. Release date and price of the UR59C have not been announced.

The CES 2019 will take place January 8-11, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show is the world’s largest and most influential technology event, featuring 4,500 exhibitors across 2.75 million net square feet of exhibit space. The hottest trends of CES 2019 include 5G connectivity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented and virtual reality, mobility, smart home, smart cities, sports tech and more. Most of the CES 2019 announcements will be released ahead of the show in late December and early January. The next wave of news comes during the CES media days on January 6-7, when news conferences and keynotes are scheduled. Read the latest CES 2019 News.
