Swagtron Swagger Hybrid Takes on Viro Rides Vega Transforming 2-in-1 Electric Scooter

Swagtron unveils convertible electric scooter at the CES 2019.

The Viro Vega Transforming 2-in-1 Electric Scooter was in high demand ahead of Christmas and this $299 scooter is still not in stock on amazon.com. Now Swagtron unveiled an electric scooter with a similar concept. The Swagtron Swagger Hybrid transforms between a traditional stand-up electric scooter and a seated pedal-free bike design.

An LED display and headlight complete the cockpit. Despite its minimalist aesthetic, it’s capable of up to 15 mph with a range that also clocks in at 15 miles per charge. This slick machine folds for compact storage and transport.

Swagtron has not revealed the price and release date yet of the Swagtron Swagger Hybrid. The company exhibits many new electric mobility products at the CES that will be released in 2019.

The CES 2019 will take place January 8-11, 2019, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show is the world’s largest and most influential technology event, featuring 4,500 exhibitors across 2.75 million net square feet of exhibit space. The hottest trends of CES 2019 include 5G connectivity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented and virtual reality, mobility, smart home, smart cities, sports tech and more. Most of the CES 2019 announcements will be released ahead of the show in late December and early January.
