Super Bowl 2019 Halftime Show: Travis Scott and Big Boi Join Maroon 5

NFL makes Maroon 5 Super Bowl LIII Halftime show official.

The NFL announced on Jan. 13 that Maroon 5 will be joined by Travis Scott and Big Boi performing the Super Bowl 2019 Halftime Show. Three-time Grammy Award-winning multiplatinum band Maroon 5 is adding some flavor with rapper Travis Scott and Atlanta native Big Boi.

Maroon 5 might also pay tribute to SpongeBob creator Stephen Hillenburg, who died in November. A reference to SpongeBob appears in the teaser Maroon 5 posted on social media. The band is following a petition of a SpongeBob fan to play SpongeBob's Sweet Victory song during the Super Bowl 2019 Halftime Show.

Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi join an esteemed list of recent halftime acts including Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Missy Elliott, Lenny Kravitz, Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, U2 and many more.

The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is the most-watched musical event of the year. Super Bowl LIII and the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show will be broadcast by CBS from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Super Bowl LIII marks Pepsi's seventh year as title sponsor of the Super Bowl Halftime Show and 17th year as an NFL partner. Pepsi and the NFL have teamed up again to provide fans with a halftime experience worthy of pop-culture's biggest stage.

Watch all Super Bowl 2019 Ads as soon as they are released online. Super Bowl 2019 (LIII) will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, home of the Falcons, on Feb. 3, 2019. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium opened in 2017. Super Bowl LIII will be the first Big Game for the stadium. The Super Bowl LIII will be broadcasted by CBS this year and streamed on CBS All Access.
