Nintendo Direct February Coming with Metroid Prime Trilogy

New rumors point to Nintendo Direct in mid-February.

Nintendo is slowly kicking off 2019. Last week the company announced a new Nintendo Switch bundle with a $35 eShop credit that will be released on Feb. 15. There is possibly also a Nintendo Direct ahead of the Switch hardware release. A reputable poster on gaming forum resetera hints at Feb. 13 as Nintendo Direct date. Among the games featured in the Feb. 13 Nintendo Direct are supposed to be Metroid Prime Trilogy, Pikmin 3, Super Mario Maker 2, Boxboy, 2D Zelda and Pokemon.

Update: The Nintendo Direct 2.13.2019 is confirmed.

Metroid Prime Trilogy is the release of Wii game on Switch that is not to be confused with Metroid Prime 4. Nintendo Direct rumors have mixed success rates. Some speculate that Nintendo will announce the February Nintendo Direct on the 13th, making the rumored date not the publishing date. The last Nintendo Direct was on November 1 and was dedicated to Super Smash Bros.
