Samsung Galaxy Fold Images Appear

Alleged renders of the Galaxy Fold surface online.

The last secret of the Samsung Unpacked Event on Feb. 20 might have leaked. Images of Samsung's foldable smartphone surfaced in a South Korean discussion board.

The renders are in line with Samsung's style of press-renders. One of two image shows the alleged Galaxy Fold opening up like a book. The image displayed is a butterfly and obvious fitting theme. The second image shows the device from the back. You can make out the two cameras on the dark image and maybe there is the outside screen.

There is a chance that these images are fake. Yesterday Evan Blass tweeted that the official name of the Samsung's first foldable smartphone is Galaxy Fold. What is known so far is that the unfolded screen will have the size of 7.3-inch and the device will have two batteries.

Samsung will unveil today the Galaxy S10, which has leaked in its entirety already. Even a TV commercial for the S10 has been broadcasted to early. The Galaxy Fold is the only highlight left. The big question is how far Samsung is away from releasing the Galaxy Fold. Given the lack of leaks compared to the Galaxy S10, the release might not be that close.
