At its Xbox E3 Briefing on June 9, Microsoft Corp.’s gaming platform Xbox released dozens of new video games that it will be publishing for console and PC soon, including five that will premiere in Xbox Game Pass across console and PC.

Starting today, PC gamers can join the Xbox Game Pass for PC beta through the new Xbox app on Windows 10. In a press release, Xbox said Game Pass for PC is designed specifically for PC gamers. The platform features over 100 high-quality PC games from over 75 developers and publishers, including PC titles like "Football Manager 2019," "Imperator: Rome" and "Metro Exodus."

Meanwhile, 34 new additions to the Xbox Game Studios family that will premiere in Xbox Game Pass include the following headliners:

Gears 5

Xbox said Gears 5, an upcoming third-person shooting game by The Coalition, is headlining the list. The game is part of the Gears of War series and is a sequel to Gears of War 4, but instead of focusing on Gears of War 4 protagonist JD Fenix, Gears 5 shifts focus to Kait Diaz. Gears 5 was first announced at E3 2018. It will be available from September 10 on Xbox One, Windows 10 PC and Steam.

Battletoads

Battletoads, a remake of a 1991 video game media franchise by British developer Rare, is back with a unique animation style, wild side-scrolling action and team-focused gameplay. Players can take control of Rash, Zitz and Pimple as they smash, stomp and slam their way through hordes of enemies. Microsoft, which acquired Rare in 2003, has yet to announce the release date for Battletoads, but Xbox said the remake would be available on Xbox One.

Bleeding Edge

Bleeding Edge, an all-new game from British developer Ninja Theory, features a 4x4 team-fighter game that combines third-person action combat with competitive online gaming. Players can choose between Buttercup with her detachable saw blade arms, Black Metal rocker Niđhöggr with his electrifying guitar solos, or New York’s most wanted ninja, Daemon. Bleeding Edge is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 PC on June 27.

The Outer Worlds

The Outer Worlds, a new single-player first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division, that takes the player to a colonist ship bound for the “furthest edge of the galaxy.” The character a player decides to become will determine how the game’s story unfolds. The game is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 25.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Ori and the Will of the Wisps, developed by Moon Studios, is the sequel to highly-acclaimed Ori and the Blind Forest, which won more than 50 awards and nominations. The latest addition to the Ori franchise, was first announced in June 2018. It is expected to showcase never0bef0reseen gameplay with intense all-new combat system with Ori fighting different bosses in exotic worlds. The game will be published by Xbox Game Studios and will be released February 11, 2020, for Xbox One, Windows 10 PC and Steam.
