Fix: My Voicemails Won’t Delete in iPhone 7 Plus

iPhone 7 Plus users are unable to delete their voicemails. In this article we mention the best solutions to fix this problem.

Thousands of iPhone 7 Plus users are facing a weird problem. They are unable to delete their voicemails. Whenever a voicemail is deleted in iPhone 7 Plus, it reappears in the device.

Common fixes like soft reset and restarting your iPhone won’t solve this problem.

If you can’t delete voicemail in iPhone 7 Plus, here are some of the ways to fix the problem.

Airplane Mode

The best way to delete voicemails in iPhone 7 Plus is to set your phone to airplane mode first. After setting the mode, try deleting the voicemail. After deleting, turn off the airplane mode. The deleted voicemail won’t reappear. This solution has worked for a majority of iPhone users that were facing the problem.

Make sure to also switch off both cellular and WiFi access on your iPhone when you turn on the airplane mode, as in many cases airplane mode won’t automatically disable the WiFi access. Having WiFi enabled would result in voicemails coming back to your phone.

Force Restart

Doing a forced restart is another option to delete voicemails in iPhone 7 Plus. Follow the steps below:

Force close all the apps by double-tapping the home button and then swiping upwards on the phone app.

Press and hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo. Release the buttons as soon as you see the logo.

You phone will get restarted.

Try deleting the voicemail(s) again.
