"There's still work to do here in Arkham City."

Amazon UK has added listings for a Batman Arkham Collection Steelbook Edition, which includes Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, as well as Batman: Arkham Knight, the finale to the Arkham series.

The listing appears to be a leak as the game’s developer, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment-owned Rocksteady Studios, has not officially made an announcement about the release of the collection.

The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for £39.99, with the release date set on September 6.

The Batman: Arkham collection features definitive versions of Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy games. The collection has apparently left out Batman: Arkham Origins, which is the only game in the series that was not created by Rocksteady, but by WB Games Montréal.

The collection will be enclosed in exclusive steelbook packaging, according to the listing. The item page also revealed that the Batman: Arkham Knight "Earth to Dark Knight" skin will be available for the first time in the UK for the PlayStation 4.

The Batman: Arkham series started with the Batman: Arkham Asylum in 2009. The Asylum centers on Batman trying to stop the Joker from destroying Gotham City. The second game in 2011, Batman: Arkham City, is a follow-up to the story, where Batman was confined and became terribly ill from a disease brought about by the Joker. Arkham City was later followed by Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013 and Batman: Arkham Nights in 2015.

Apart from the console version, the video game series was also made available for iOS and Android phones with Batman: Arkham City Lockdown in 2011, Batman: Arkham Origins mobile in 2013, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate in 2013 and Batman: Arkham Underworld in 2016.

A virtual reality version called Batman: Arkham (VR) was also rolled out by Rocksteady for the PlayStation VR in October 2016 before it was released for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive in April 2017.

Three other collections have been previously released by the game’s developers, including: Batman: Arkham Bundle and Batman: Arkham Collection in 2013 and Batman: Return to Arkham in 2016. However, they did not have the Batman: Arkham Knight series.

Meanwhile, Amazon UK did not list a version of the latest collection for other consoles like the Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.
