The upcoming Note 10 could come with three cameras, similar to Samsung's flagship Galaxy 10.

As the impending launch of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 10 draws near, a number of leaks and speculations online have pointed to major upgrades and some not-so-impressive changes in the phone.

Some have speculated that the Note 10 could be bigger than its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 9, with a massive 6.6-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Others have also suggested that the Note 10 will have no headphone jack, following on the footsteps of rival Apple; no exterior buttons like the power, volume and Bixby buttons; but with a quad-camera setup and a really long battery life at 4,300mAh.

Most recently, two reliable leakers have posted what they call “official” photos of the Note 10. Roland Quandt at WinFuture and MySmartPrice contributor Ishan Agarwal posted photos of the upcoming Note 10 in black and in a shiny blue-purple gradient that looks eerily similar to the Huawei P30 Pro’s Breathing Crystal variant.

The Note 10 is expected to be officially announced at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on August 7.

As with Samsung’s teaser video for the Unpacked event, which shows a punch-hole camera, the leaks also show the same tiny camera hole atop the screen and is surrounded by the display itself. The bezels on the leaked photos are also surprisingly thin compared to the Note 9’s rather wide bezel on the top and bottom of the screen.

Meanwhile, the leaked renders also show three cameras at the back, refuting earlier rumors that the Note 10 will have four back cameras. Nonetheless, a tri-camera setup would still be more appealing than the Note 9’s current two-camera system. It also comes as Samsung’s new flagship phone, the Galaxy S10 and the S10+ now sport three cameras.

The leaks from Quandt and Agarwal, however, do not seem to have fingerprint sensors, sparking speculations that it could be inside the display itself, which is similar to the likes of the Galaxy S10, the Huawei P30, the OnePlus7 and more.

The leaks also don’t reveal whether the Note 10 will continue to have the standard 3.5mm headphone jack.

Stay tuned to get the latest updates on the Galaxy Note 10 when more details are revealed.
