How to find 2019 Nintendo Switch Console in Stock

Nintendo releases a new Switch console with improved battery life.

On June 17, Nintendo revealed a new Nintendo Switch console (HAC-001(-01)), which is not the Switch Lite the company introduced earlier. The new Nintendo Switch model HAC-001(-01) runs about 4.5 to 9 hours. Battery life will depend on the games you play. For instance, the battery will last approximately 5.5 hours for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo makes it easy to spot the new 2019 Nintendo Switch. The console comes in a new all red packaging. The new Nintendo Switch update will have serial numbers starting with "XKW."

Nintendo did not announce the HAC-001(-01) officially yet in the US. In Europe and Japan the new Switch will launch in September and August respectively. Best Buy has already started to use the image of the new updated Switch in their Nintendo Switch section. This is an indicator that the release of the Nintendo Switch model HAC-001(-01) is around the corner. Best Buy also cut the price of the current Nintendo Switch by $20. But if you plan on using the Switch on the go, you should definitely wait for the release of the new updated Switch in the red box.
