Fortnite Season 10 Release Date, Maps, Battle Pass Price and More

Fortnite Season 10 is about to go live. Here's is what to expect in the new version.

Fortnite is the most happening game of our times. Unlike other games that come, make their mark and fade away, Fortnite is always in the news, constantly engaging its fans. This is because of the “seasons” model of the game. Fortnite Season 9 has practically reached its end. Millions of fans are awaiting Fortnite Season 10. Technically, Fortnite Season 10 was slated to launch in mid-July. But the launch was delayed amid Fortnite World Cup that is taking place in New York, where players will collectively take home a whopping $30 million.

According to several reports, and in-game Battle Pass countdown clock, Fortnite Season 10 release date is expected to be July 31. Fortnite World Cup will conclude on July 28. Naturally, Fortnite management will give a gap of a couple of days after the event before launching the new season.

Major changes in maps, characters, skins and themes are expected in Season 10. Fans have already started spotting some changes lurking in the Season 9 maps. These cues include mysterious giant's Cattus eye under the ocean of Polar Peaks, purple cube and rifts swallow landmarks. There is a speculation that in Season 10 the giant will break loose and cause a havoc. There was also some leaked images cautioning players to “take the high ground” and referring to the return of jetpacks. All of these references point towards a chaos.

Like every other season, Season 10 will have battle passes to make progressions in Battle Royale. Battle Pass Season 10 cost is expected to come in at around 950 V-Bucks ($10) or 2800 V-Bucks ($30) for the battle bundle.
