The move comes as Samsung is expected to also move away from the headphone jack.

Samsung has quietly added a new color variant to its line of wireless earbuds, a new flashy silver variant that matches the leaked photos of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10.

Samsung France has added a listing for a pair of silver Galaxy Buds with a kind of pearly bluish and purplish gradient color that is reminiscent of the shiny blue-purple gradient renders of the Note 10 that was leaked almost three weeks ago.

Samsung is nearing the release of the new Galaxy Note 10 at its Unpacked event in New York on August 7.

The listing for the new variant of the earbuds on Samsung France’s website does not yet include the item’s price. Its counterparts, the white, black and yellow variants are currently priced at €149 in France, and $129.99 in the U.S.

The Galaxy Buds were launched March 8 in the U.S., the U.K. and the Middle East and were subsequently rolled out to other markets.

Samsung’s challenger to Apple’s AirPods are expected to appeal to users of the upcoming Note 10 since the South Korean tech giant was earlier reported to have removed the headphone jack from the upcoming smartphone, mirroring Apple’s footsteps.

The Galaxy Buds can be wirelessly charged for at least 15 minutes to get up to 1.7 more hours of play time. It is charged through its case. One full charge provides up to 6 hours of play time, and with the charging case, users can get up to an additional 7 hours of play time for a total of 13 hours of uninterrupted listening.

The wireless earbuds are packed with sound by AKG, boasting “a balanced and natural sound with superb dynamic range and exceptional accuracy.”

Users can switch the Buds to Ambient Aware mode to control how much surrounding noise they want to listen to, which is essential when using the earbuds while crossing the street or catching flight announcements.

More details about the new variant of the Galaxy Buds are expected to be made on or before Samsung’s Unpacked event, so stay tuned.
