The OOri drone is shaking up the drone industry with its move away from photography and into racing.

UVify Inc., an award-winning aerial robotics company that makes four lines of high-performance drones, has knocked off the price of the world’s first ever racing drone by 14%, bringing down the price to just $295 from the original list price of $345.

The UVify OOri is the company’s revolutionary drone that kids and adults can race using a remote control. As the drone market is filled with drones that are used for photography, the OOri drones bring out the fun as it is built for aerial racing.

Each OOri drone has three flight modes: beginner, intermediate and racer. The device is controlled by a remote control that has its own screen to allow its flyers to see what the drone sees.

It can reach speeds of up to 50 meters per hour and fly as high as 500 feet from the ground. The drone is packed with a vision positioning system that helps the drone hover accurately and steadily over the ground.

Every purchase of the UVify OOri drone comes with the OOri drone itself, a transmitter with FPV screen, 660 mAh battery, 8 propellers, a tool kit, spare bolts and a prop guard.

The drone measures 90mm x 90mm x30mm without the prop guard and weighs 73 grams without the batteries.

UVify, the creator of the drone, is a member of the Amazon Launchpad, which helps startup companies with innovative ideas market their products.
