Black Friday 2019: Less than 100 Days Until the Biggest Sale of the Year

With less than three months away, now is the time to get your shopping game ready.

Black Friday is less than 100 days away, which means that the official countdown for the biggest shopping sales event of every year is on and it’s time to start getting your shopping list ready.

The Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States marks the start of the Christmas shopping season and is considered as one of the biggest annual shopping events. Because of its popularity, Black Friday has even expanded to other countries like the U.K.

What started as a day of consumer electronic deals has also spread out to great discounts on a lot of other consumer items like toys, clothes, furniture, home appliances and more.

Over the years, Black Friday has grown to become a mega shopping phenomenon that has seen long queues of people waiting for shop doors to open, shoppers fighting over discounted items and other crazy shopping dramas.

This year, Black Friday falls on November 29 and a huge wave of retailers are expected to offer a wide array of deals for 24 hours, with some launching it days or weeks earlier and even extend it because of the tough competition against other retailers.

Some even do it months earlier. In July, Best Buy came out with Black Friday in July, offering great discounts sitewide for just a day.

Apart from Best Buy, other major retailers like, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Macy’s, Walgreens, ULTA and Boscov’s, among many others, are the biggest go-to shopping websites for most online shoppers.

E-commerce companies like are proving to be the biggest gainers during the Black Friday season as customers have started to shift away from physical stores like department stores and malls, and into online stores. Online shopping has become the greatest enemy of brick and mortar stores.

A lot of these retailers come out with Black Friday ads to give customers a preview of what deals they are going to offer.

Meanwhile, Lowe's has just announced a pre-Black Friday sales event, this time focusing on Labor Day 2019. Lowe's Labor Day 2019 shopping sales extravaganza will kick off August 28, meaning shoppers will no longer have to wait for Labor Day weekend to start shopping.

In the coming weeks, I4U News will provide all the biggest offers from all the retailers that are participating in the Black Friday event, as well as all the other promotions that come before it.
