OnePlus 7T, OnePlus TV: New Leaks About Release Date, Specs and More

A new leak suggests that OnePlus 7T will be launched very soon.

After the spectacular success of OnePlus 7 earlier this year, people are eagerly waiting for the OnePlus 7T version. A new leak suggests OnePlus 7T might be launched in the market sooner than expected. Max J. who calls himself "Industrial Leaker" has revealed in a tweet that OnePlus 7T will be launched in September.

Max J. said in a tweet that OnePlus will launch its latest device 7T in India on September 26, while the phone will be launched in the U.S. and E.U. on October 10. The leakster added that OnePlus 7T will go out on sales in E.U and U.S starting October 15.

Max J. also said that OnePlus TV will be launched on September 26.

Even though OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 were launched earlier this year, the Chinese phone company is eager to launch another T series device closer to the Apple launch event in September to break its competitor’s sales cycle, at least in the emerging markets.

As we reported earlier, Apple is expected to launch iPhone 11 on September 20. If the latest leak is true, the new OnePlus device would be launched just a week after the iPhone 11 launch.

OnePlus typically launches its T cycle iterations between October and November every year. But the company would launch the OnePlus 7T device earlier to give Apple, which is already struggling with declining iPhone sales, a tough competition.

OnePlus 7T specs could include a better camera, faster charging, and better RAM speed. Some reports also suggest that the upcoming phone will have a 90Hz refresh rate display and triple camera on the rear. However, the design of OnePlus 7T is expected to be similar to that of OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus will also launch its much-awaited TV during the September launch event, according to the leak. The company will launch the TV in India first, where it would compete with companies like Samsung, LG and TCL. OnePlus TV is expected to come in four sizes, and will have QLED displays.
