Fix PubG Won't Launch, Crashes on PC

A lot of PubG users say that when they launch the game on their PC, it crashes and fails to get launched. Here is how to solve this problem.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is perhaps the most popular game in the world, with over 200 million players worldwide. With so many players and activity going on, it’s not uncommon to experience glitches. A lot of PubG users say that PubG crashes or won’t start in their PC. This problem is becoming very common. While there could be several causes of PubG crashing, there are a few common fixes that are known to have fixed the issue.

How to Fix PubG Won't Launch, Crashes on PC

1 ) Turn off or disable your antivirus software. PubG is an internet-based game where you play with other players on different servers. Antivirus software often block server traffic that isn’t fully trustworthy. During online gaming, it’s always recommended to turn off your antivirus and firewall.

2) If you are facing PubG launch problems, the game won’t start, and you’d see a black box suddenly appearing on the screen for a second before disspearing. When this happens, open Task Bar and right click on a process called TSLgame task. This will open a new window. In about 5 seconds, PubG will start.

3) If you are playing PubG via Steam, make sure to verify your game files. Verfication of the integrity of game files will help you get the updated files and resolve any potential errors.

Restart your computer and launch Steam.

From the Library section, right-click on the PubG and go to Properties.

Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files option.

Steam will verify the game's files.

If nothing works, you should do a clean install of your Windows as a last resort to fix PubG won’t launch, crashing problems.
