Nintendo unveils new Switch controller that looks like a steering wheel

Here we go, Mario Kart.

As Nintendo prepares for the worldwide release of its new Nintendo Switch Lite console, the gaming giant has teased yet another fun way to play with Nintendo Switch games.

Without releasing an official announcement, Nintendo posted a video on YouTube of what appears to be a round gaming accessory that looks just like a steering wheel. But unlike a regular steering wheel, this new accessory can be squeezed.

The ad shows players holding the device and doing all sorts of things with it while playing a game. The video did not show what games the people were playing, but they might be games that require a lot of action and exercise movements.

Watch the video here:

The new Nintendo wheel, as we’d like to call it, could be a great addition to any Nintendo Switch player’s collection, especially now that Nintendo has announced that games that are part of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, or SNES, are coming to the Nintendo Switch platform via Nintendo Switch Online.

On top of that, those with a Nintendo Switch Online account can now purchase a dedicated SNES wireless controller that definitely bring back the glory days of the old NES controllers.

Nintendo is set to release the Nintendo Switch Lite on September 20, so make sure that you check out the following consoles to make gaming more accessible anywhere and anytime.

There are three variants of the Switch Lite to choose from, plus a special edition that’s coming right before the launch of the new Pokemon Go and Pokemon Sword games in November.

Check out all the variants below that are now up for pre-order on Walmart, Gamestop and for just $199.99:

Nintendo Switch Lite Gray

Nintendo Switch Lite Turquoise

Nintendo Switch Lite Yellow

Nintendo Switch Lite Zacian and Zamazenta (Special Edition)
