The new Sennheiser headphones have built-in Tile trackers; here’s how to buy one

Never lose your headphones again.

If you’re like most people nowadays, your headphones are an extension of you, and without them, the world suddenly becomes a boring place. The lack of music can create a feeling of emptiness.

Imagine leaving to work one day and realizing that you forgot your headphones at home. If you take the bus or the train to work, it can be such a bummer.

Luckily, there’s a new technology that will soon help solve this common problem. It’s only limited to Sennheiser headphones for now, but this innovation could become a game-changer for the portable audio device market, paving the way for other companies to also find partners to co-develop this technology.

For Sennheiser, the audio expert has found a partner in Tile, one of the leaders in smart locating solutions. Under their partnership, Tile tested its latest technology with Sennheiser’s new MOMENTUM Wireless headphones. Tile embedded its smart-tracking technology into these headphones so customers can track them like they would with Tile trackers.

Tile’s tracking devices can be attached to either a set of keys, a wallet, a phone or any other gadgets and items that people don’t want to lose. Tile has a dedicated app that owners can log on to to check the current location of their tracked items.

There are three types of Tile trackers that you can purchase on Amazon.com: Tile Pro, Slim and Mate.

A single Tile Pro is currently discounted on Amazon.com at 33% off for just $23.42. The Tile Slim, meanwhile, is worth $30.00 and it’s perfect for wallets and phones. The Tile Mate is the smallest and the cheapest at just $22.31. That’s discounted by 11%. There’s also a sports version of the Tile that currently retails at as low as $18.75.

The good thing about Tile’s partnership with Sennheiser is that customers no longer have to purchase a separate Tile tracker to attach to their headphones. Tile has integrated its technology directly inside the new line of Sennheiser MOMENTUM Wireless headphones, making it more convenient to owners of such headphones to get notified whenever their headphones are out of reach.

The app shows the exact location where the headphones were last seen if they become misplaced. Users can also ring them when they are nearby, such as when you can’t find them within your home.

The new Sennheiser MOMENTUM Wireless is available in black at a suggested retail price of $399.95, according to Sennheiser. You can buy one now on Amazon.com before stocks run out. As of writing, there are only 10 left in stock, but more stock are on the way, according to the listing.

A sandy white color variant is expected to arrive in November. In the meantime, you can check out other Sennheiser headphones that are available for purchase online, or buy the black Sennheiser MOMENTUM Wireless before stocks run out.
