This leak could be confirmed at Apple's event in October.

Fresh off the launch of the new iPhone 11 Pro, which comes with three cameras, a first for Apple, new leaks have suggested that the upcoming iPad Pro could also sport a tri-camera setup.

Apple is currently facing huge competition against its biggest rival Samsung, as well as newcomers in the field like China’s Huawei.

Among the biggest selling points of Apple’s rivals is their camera setup, which is why Apple has also stepped up its game by adding three cameras to the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.

Most recently, we have word that even the new iPad Pro — the successor to the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro — could also come with three cameras. The first-ever physical leak of this rumored device was published by SonnyDickson.com. Without disclosing the source of the leaked photo, the blog site said Apple is seeking to market its iPad Pro to customers who are aiming to comfortably shoot and edit 4K quality video all from one device.

In terms of the design, the supposed mockup of the new iPad Pro appears to be made with an aluminum body, which would mean that the new iPad Pro is not entirely based on the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.

SonnyDickson’s leaked photo follows a report in August by Japanese blog site MacOtakara, which also posted a 3D render of what it expects the new iPad Pros to look like.

Apple is expected to take the covers off of its new line of iPad Pro next month, so stay tuned as we cover all the details.
